Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational goals. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering high-impact results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

1. Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring objectives are met within constraints.
2. Provide detailed project status reports to stakeholders and leadership.
3. Proactively identify and address scope changes while managing change requests effectively.
4. Capture lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
5. Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive successful project outcomes.
6. Follow established project management processes and best practices.
7. Build and maintain customer relationships to exceed expectations.
8. Develop comprehensive project proposals in collaboration with technical and financial teams.
9. Oversee supplier relationships, including creating statements of work and ensuring performance alignment.
10. Support PMO operations and contribute to the evolution of project management methodologies.

People Leadership

11. Lead and guide cross-functional teams, defining tasks, schedules, and direction.

12. Mentor project management staff to enhance professional growth.

13. Monitor team performance, address resource needs, and ensure optimal function.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, computer science, business, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Experience

• 5-10 years in program/project management, engineering, or product development.
• Familiarity with project management frameworks, tools, and software.
• Experience in aerospace or related fields, including launch vehicles or payload development.
• Experience with satellite platforms or space systems preferred.
• Familiarity with biological or chemical processes is a plus.

Certifications

• PMP certification required.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher required.
