Company: Our client is a dynamic company dedicated to wholesaling and retailing high-quality men’s clothing and accessories since 2015. They have two renowned brands, recognized for their innovative designs, comfort, and functionality. One of their brands is particularly committed to inclusivity and is recognized as an LGBTQ+ friendly niche brand that embraces diversity in fashion. They serve over 50 wholesale accounts in North America, operate a retail store in Provincetown, Cape Cod, and launched online stores in 2023, expanding their reach to a broader audience.

Location: Remote (with occasional in-person meetings at their South End, Boston HQ)

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Manager to elevate their brands’ presence across various platforms. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase engagement, drive traffic to their online stores, and enhance brand awareness. This role requires a passion for fashion, strong communication skills, and the ability to analyze data to inform decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Strategy Development: Design and implement strategies for Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn to grow the audience and drive brand engagement.
• Content Creation and Curation: Develop compelling and visually appealing content, including posts, stories, and videos, tailored for each platform. Stay updated on the latest social media trends while maintaining a consistent brand voice and aesthetic.
• Email Marketing: Develop and coordinate email marketing campaigns that align with social media efforts, using email platforms to drive engagement and conversions.
• Community Engagement: Actively engage with followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner to foster community and enhance customer relationships.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track social media performance metrics and provide regular reports analyzing audience growth, engagement rates, and sales conversions. Use insights to refine strategies.
• Influencer and Partnership Management: Build and nurture relationships with influencers and brand partners, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community, to amplify reach and enhance brand credibility.
• Crisis Management: Manage and respond to any social media crises effectively and professionally.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand representation.

Posting Frequency:

• Instagram: 3-4 times per week
• Facebook: 2-3 times per week
• X (formerly Twitter): 3-5 times per week
• TikTok: 2-3 times per week
• Pinterest: 3-5 times per week
• LinkedIn: 1 time per week

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
• Exceptional writing and copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content.
• Experience with social media analytics tools to track performance and adjust strategies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
• Experience in and knowledge of the LGBTQ+ market is a plus.

Bonus Skills:

• Graphic design experience (familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
• Knowledge of paid social media advertising strategies.
• Experience with community management and user-generated content strategies.
• Familiarity with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.
