Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree and a valid Pennsylvania Special Education certificate.
• At least 2 years of experience (3-5 preferred) working with students diagnosed with autism and high-intensity behavioral needs.
• Must obtain and maintain physical management certification credentials through Quality Behavioral Solutions (QBS)/Safety Care.
• Demonstrated ability to develop classroom strategies that promote an effective teaching and learning environment using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Ability to maintain composure in high-crisis situations and lead the classroom team in appropriate, approved responses. Capable of following Behavior Intervention Plans with consistency and fidelity, while making informed decisions when necessary.
• Experience applying ABA principles in a clinic or school setting.

• Participate in several staff development training courses that focus on working with students with Autism.
• Implement state of the art strategies to work effectively with students with Autism.

Salary: up to $55,000 DOE
