Job Description

A recognized services organization in New Jersey is actively seeking a new Strategic Projects Program Coordinator to join their growing team. In this role, the Strategic Projects Program Coordinator will be responsible for providing program management support to the Chief of Administration & Risk.

About the Opportunity:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Assignment Length: 6 months (potential extension)
  • Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite; 2 days remote)
  • Hours: 8am to 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Provide program management support to the Chief of Administration & Risk, ensuring that all strategic projects are effectively coordinated and tracked
  • Conduct research and data analysis to inform decision-making, including compiling, reviewing, and assessing relevant data
  • Prepare written reports, presentations, and other communication materials based on research findings and project updates
  • Organize and maintain detailed information on strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring it is easily accessible and up to date
  • Plan and execute events as needed, including meetings, conferences, and internal events, coordinating logistics and ensuring successful execution
  • Manage and maintain calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments, and deadlines, ensuring optimal time management for the Chief of Administration & Risk
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information, acting as a trusted point of contact for confidential matters
  • Assist in the preparation of executive-level presentations and documents, providing support in the development and delivery of strategic initiatives
  • Serve as a liaison between the Chief of Administration & Risk and other senior leaders or stakeholders, coordinating communications and actions

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Program Management and/or Administrative Support
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with executives, with an ability to anticipate their needs and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Solid analytical, data assessment, and research skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience in Event Planning or Meeting Coordination
  • Background in Administration, Risk Management, or similar field
  • Experience with other Project Management tools
  • Experience in working directly with Executives
