Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.
Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Outside Operations – Player Services, Starter, Player Assistant
• Golf Operations – Assisting the Professional Staff in managing the day-to-day operations of three course with one rotating daily as a Private Member Club.
• Tee Time Management – Gain valuable experience in managing out extensive tee time program for 54 holes of golf.
• Retail Operations – Work closely with our Golf Retail Team to order, receive, manage and display our retail itmes including our seasonal life-style concept shop.
• Teaching – Assist PGA Professional staff in conducting 25+ Summer Junior Camps, Junior Clinics and/or Junior Tournament Series events.
• Tournament Operations – Work closely with PGA Professional staff conducting over 60 annual member golf events and over 100 Resort tournaments. Opportunity to learn and or use Golf Genius Tournament Systems.
Requirements:
Ideally looking for interns who can work 5-7 months.
Engaging personality that seeks opportunities to interact with members and resort guest.
Strong work ethic.
Name retention skills.
Personal character that personifies professionalism on and off the golf course.
Team player devoted to the success.
Compensation:
$10.00 – $15.00 per hour.
