Job Title : Support Advisor (CFP Track)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Support Advisor to join our financial planning team. This individual will play an essential role in assisting clients, gathering information, and supporting the financial planning process, while working towards obtaining the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification. This position offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic financial planning firm while actively contributing to client success.

Key Responsibilities :

• Client Support : Assist financial planners in providing high-quality service to clients, responding to inquiries, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Data Gathering : Collect and organize client financial information, including income, expenses, investments, liabilities, and goals.
• Financial Plan Preparation : Help in the development and preparation of comprehensive financial plans, including retirement, tax, estate, and investment planning.
• Research and Analysis : Conduct research on financial products, investment options, and market trends to provide insights and support in decision-making.
• Client Communication : Serve as a point of contact for clients, scheduling meetings, and facilitating communication between clients and financial planners.
• CFP Preparation : Actively engage in educational and developmental opportunities to work towards completing the CFP certification.
• Compliance and Documentation : Maintain accurate and complete client records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Administrative Support : Assist with general office duties such as preparing documents, organizing files, and managing scheduling for client meetings.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Certification : Must be currently enrolled in the CFP certification program or actively pursuing it.
• Experience : Previous experience in financial services or client-facing roles preferred, but not required.
• Skills :
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
