Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Startup Assistant to join our team. As a Startup Assistant at PayEngine, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team and assisting in various tasks related to payments and fintech. Your responsibilities will include managing schedules, coordinating meetings and events, conducting research, and assisting in day-to-day operations. You will work closely with our executives and cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth running of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the team by assisting with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Attend meetings and carefully document all the important details.
  • Efficiently schedule and organize meetings, appointments, and events to keep everything on track.
  • Create and distribute professional documents, presentations, and reports.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the payments industry and fintech.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams on exciting projects.
  • Manage the coordination and logistics of events and conferences.
  • Take charge of general office management tasks to maintain a productive environment.
  • Assist with bookkeeping and handle various financial and HR-related activities.
  • Overlap with assisting with marketing activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • Prior experience in an administrative role or startup environment is a plus
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of the payments industry and fintech is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
