Responsibilities: As a MedSurg RN you will care for adults before and after medical procedures and surgeries. Facilities hiring MedSurg travel nurses include hospitals outpatient clinics specialty surgery centers and longterm care facilities. Your duties will involve daily patient assessments postsurgical evaluations wound care and continuous monitoring of patient health. You will also assess treatments administer medications and coordinate routine aspects of care. MedSurg nurses typically manage a larger patient load compared to intensive care nurses often handling 57 patients at a time.
