RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ultrasound Tech s perform all requested clinical assessments and diagnostic sonography examinations as ordered by the attending physician. Ultrasound Tech s uses sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information, and images. Ultrasound Tech s job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Use judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings
A nalyze and synthesize sonographic information and communicate findings to the appropriate physician
Ultrasound Tech s a ssist with the daily operations of the sonographic laboratory and participate in the maintenance of laboratory accreditation
