About Us:
We are a growing boutique firm dedicated to providing trustee and fiduciary services, seeking a full-time Trust Officer with a robust background in trust and estate administration. Our Trust Officers act as relationship managers, offering support and guidance to clients in managing their trust and estate needs.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with over three years of experience as a trust officer. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement with a competitive salary.
Qualifications & Skills of Trust Officer:
* Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degrees in law or related fields are desirable)
* 3+ years of experience in trust and estate administration
* Previous experience as a Trust Officer, Trust Relationship Manager, or similar role
* Deep understanding of fiduciary duties and trust services
* Experience handling complex trust issues for high-net-worth individuals
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Background in Tax is preferred, but not mandatory
Key Responsibilities for Trust Officer:
* Manage all aspects of assigned trust relationships, from opening to closing
* Complete all required regulatory reporting for trust accounts
* Review legal documents, correspondence, and forms for compliance
* Identify and report compliance/risk matters and assist in risk management
* Act as a fiduciary to protect the interests of the trust company and clients
* Develop multi-generational relationships to retain trust-held assets
* Stay updated on emerging industry products, services, and regulations
