Job Title: Ultrasound Technician (Allied)

Location: Johnson City, NY, 13790

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: 8hr Day

Pay Rate: $73/hr

Your pay is based on Local or Travel position. Travel is residence >50 miles from the facility.

Cardiac Ultrasonography
8 hour days
40 hours a week
OT after 48
2+ years experience required
BLS required
ARDMS - echo required
Echocardiogram, TEE
Medications: Lumason
EPIC charting

Key Responsibilities:

Imaging Procedures:
- Perform ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and other anatomical areas as needed.
- Explain procedures to patients, addressing any questions or concerns to ensure their comfort and cooperation.
- Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal images and results.
- Adjust ultrasound equipment settings to ensure high-quality images.
Patient Care:
- Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients throughout the imaging process.
- Monitor patient conditions during procedures and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant privacy regulations and protocols.
Professional Development:
- Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques through continuing education and professional development.
- Participate in professional organizations and attend relevant workshops and conferences.
Skills:
- Proficient in the use of ultrasound equipment and related technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
