We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you'll oversee bookkeeping services for a group of clients. Your responsibilities will not include:
- Tax work
- Basic bookkeeping (you'll supervise bookkeepers)
- Management (though management opportunities are available if you're interested)

What You'll Do:
As a Senior Accountant, you will:
- Onboard New Clients: Engage with clients to understand their needs, coordinate with an international team of bookkeepers, and ensure services are set up smoothly. You'll serve as a high-level accounting resource, manage client communication, and build strong relationships.
- Supervise Ongoing Services: Support and oversee bookkeepers for ongoing client services.

Requirements:
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced: You should have a background in accounting for multiple companies, whether in-house or at a firm. Titles such as Controller, Finance Manager, Full Charge Bookkeeper, Director of Accounting, VP of Finance, CFO, or Senior Accountant are relevant. Management experience is a plus but not essential. Hands-on experience with QuickBooks is required.
- Knowledgeable: A degree in accounting (or a similar field) is ideal, though not mandatory. Being a CPA or ProAdvisor is beneficial but not required.
- Highly Organized: This role involves managing multiple clients and coordinating with a diverse team of bookkeepers. Exceptional organizational and time management skills are essential.
- Relationship-Oriented: Building strong client relationships is key. You should be a friendly, positive individual who excels at establishing trust and rapport.
- A Great Communicator: Excellent professional communication skills in English (both written and spoken) are crucial.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new systems is important. Expertise in Excel and QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) is required. Experience with other accounting software like Xero or NetSuite is a plus but not necessary.
- Adaptable and a Fast Learner: You'll need to quickly adapt to new client needs and find creative solutions. If you thrive in a constantly changing environment and enjoy tackling new challenges, this role could be a great fit.
