Title: Work Order Processor

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN 55445

Onsite schedule: 5 days per week

Duration: 1 year contract to hire

Interview: 1 and done virtual

Targeted Pay: $24/hr - $27/hr (based on experience, education, certifications, etc.)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-sufficient Work Order Processor to join our Energy Utility Client. The primary responsibility of this role is to review and verify work orders completed by contractors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to independently find solutions.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently find answers.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with various departments.
• Ability to work in a close-quarters, low-drama environment.
• Self-sufficient and proactive in addressing issues and finding solutions.
• Experience with data verification and quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review work orders returned from field operations to ensure all charges and goals are accurately recorded.
• Verify data for work orders and perform data mining for quality assurance.
• Communicate with operations, engineering, and utility quality departments to resolve any discrepancies or missing information.
• Submit work orders to the utility quality department for final approval.
• Ensure work orders are closed properly to allow for depreciation and integration into the GIS service.
• Monitor the progress of work orders and address any issues related to missing documents or financials.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

Work Environment:

• The role involves working in cubicles in a collaborative and social environment.
• The team is focused on maintaining a low-drama, high-productivity atmosphere.

Additional Information:

• The team currently handles approximately 5,000 cases per year, with each case taking between 4 to 30 minutes to process.
• There is potential for the role to expand and take on additional responsibilities based on workload and timing.
