CDL CLASS A, TANKER TRUCK DRIVER

Penhall Company , has an immediate opening for a CDL Tanker truck driver to join our team. Must have a minimum of two years' experience driving & be willing to travel. We offer a competitive wage, excellent benefits package & per diem varies per project.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Experienced CDL driver with previously established driving miles & tanker endorsement
• Driving Kenworth, pulling 12,000 gallon tanker supporting our diamond grinding operation
• Operate tanker safely and efficiently while onsite and while transporting loaded tanker to the designated washout/cleanout area
• Connecting, disconnecting fresh water & slurry discharge hoses as needed
• Moving the somewhat heavy, cumbersome water feed and slurry discharge hoses as required, while diamond grinding is in progress/operation
• Safely transporting loaded tanker to the designated washout/cleanout area dumping, rinsing, and filling tank when or as needed
• Assist grinding operator in daily functions as needed & assist with diamond grinding machine shut down procedures.
• Ability to follow directions and work safely and independently without constant supervision
• Willing to work hard while complying with all Penhall Company safety procedures and PPE
• Dependable & reliable
• Work as a team member assisting fellow Penhall employee team members as needed
• Career Oriented
• Willing to learn all aspects of the diamond grinding procedures
• Able to lift & move 45lbs or more
• Must be mechanically minded with a decent mechanical Aptitude
• Willing to work in weather conditions that may be adverse (hot/cold/rain)

• Pass a required pre-employment drug screen & random testing
• Pass a pre-employment background record (7 years) & periodical checks
• Must possess a valid unrestricted driver's license and have a good driving history
• Ability to work days/nights/weekends & travel out of town
• Required to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have steel toe leather work boots
• Willing to learn and train on bump grinder machines
