Position Summary: We are seeking a Clinical Nurse (RN) for a well-respected out-patient clinic setting in South Chicago, IL. The RN would be responsible for to a diverse and underserved patient population. The Clinical Nurse (RN) would work closely with physicians and providers and see a patient volume of between 18-22 per day ranging from pediatrics though geriatrics. The RN must be able to maintain flexibility and organization in working with patients from a diverse background. The Clinical Nurse (RN) will also work closely with the interdisciplinary team including the nurse manager as well as various referring positions, including outreach workers.
Essential Job Functions:
Registered Nurse
Provide Direct Primary Care in collaboration with Physicians and Providers
Serves as resource for patients with clinical questions
Comfortable working with underserved patients ranging from pediatrics though geriatrics
Differentiates patient care issues
Performs other duties as requested by Nurse Manager
Required Qualifications:
Clinical experience required
Registration and possession of current RN license in State of Illinois
Possess excellent decision making and communication skills
Possess effective teaching skills in working with staff and patient population
Familiar with insurance coverage including Medicare, IDPA and commercial providers
Benefits:
