We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry Level Communications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support various event marketing projects and contribute to the success of our clients' events. You’ll work closely with our communications team to help develop and execute effective promotional strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Communication Strategies: Assist in the development and implementation of communication plans to promote clients' events and initiatives.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Work with internal teams and clients to gather necessary information and insights for communication projects.
  • Media and Social Media Monitoring: Track media coverage and social media mentions related to clients' events, analyzing key metrics to assess communication effectiveness.
  • Campaign Assistance: Help plan and execute promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with clients' goals and brand messaging.
  • Media Inquiries: Respond to media inquiries and provide timely and professional information about clients' events.
  • Asset Management: Maintain and update media lists, contact databases, and other communication resources.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in event marketing and communications.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
    • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: Prior experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or event planning is a plus but not required.
  • Passion: A genuine interest in event marketing and creating engaging experiences for diverse audiences.
