Evergreen FS is farmer-owned cooperative serving the needs of customers in McLean, Woodford, Livingston, Dewitt and Macon counties. We provide our customers with a full range of farm products and services including agronomy, turf, energy, grain marketing, and so much more. WHAT WILL YOU DO
In a fast paced, safety first environment help move grain to ensure quality and maintain proper inventory. Our family-oriented team is looking for someone who wants to help growers succeed by:
• Learn proper aeration techniques to maintain grain quality while also monitoring quality and condition of grain.
• Accurately segregate inbound commodities and effective blend outbound grain.
• Conduct periodic inspections of equipment for proper maintenance procedures and identify problem areas.
• Stay on top of grain market action and support company marketing efforts.
• Assist with employee schedules and issue inbound/outbound accounting documents.

WHAT SKILLS ARE REQUIRED
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, high noise levels, and around dust.
• Good customer service, problem-solving and work ethic.
• Team-player eager to help other departments of the company.
• Willingness to get the job done during peak season by working extended hours as needed.
• Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Grain Grading Certificate.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to work at heights of over 150 feet and lift 50+ lbs.
• Solid mechanical abilities, electrical and ag background helpful but not needed
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
