Mail and File Clerk at Bureau of Reclamation in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Summary Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Mail and File Clerk. You can make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment. Duty Location: Boise, Idaho Responsibilities Performs variety of records management duties including receiving records, assigning record classification per the Information Management Handbook and Department Records Schedule, entering records into the electronic record management system, record searches, and retrieves records per requests. Assists with special records management projects, assembling records for shipment to the Federal Record Center, participates in record cleanup, and assists with internal training to all employees. Serves as primary mail manager providing oversight of mail metering activity, selection of appropriate commercial mail vendors, mail packaging, and management of mailing equipment. Responsible for ordering/maintaining mailing supplies, daily incoming/outgoing mail and packages, oversees commercial mailing activity. Serves as receptionist to include greeting/screening visitors, receiving incoming calls, scheduling conference room reservations and resolving any scheduling conflicts. Assists Collection Officer with receipts and remittance of miscellaneous revenues received, completes collection forms on monies received, assures monies are held in secured location.
