Job Description

Organizational Development Business Partner

The Organizational Development Business Partner is responsible for driving process and data driven improvements in the organization. Person will collaborate with Senior Management, Operations and Finance to report and drive performance.

Essential Job Functions:

Revenue Cycle Management

  • Assess and track key opportunities to enhance cash collection and improve EBITDA performance
  • Manage transition from third party activity to in-house.
  • Support front end workflow redesign for
    • Eligibility
    • Authorizations
    • Billing
    • Credentialing
    • Denials Management
    • Patient Collections
    • Cash Posting
    • Expected Reimbursement
    • AR Workflow
  • Assess and support expected reimbursement process including
    • Contract management database
    • Fee schedule management
  • Assess new technology tools to enhance workflow and productivity such as:
    • Waystar implementation
    • Cash posting
    • Clearinghouse
    • Systems upgrades (e.g. SAMMS)
  • Assess and support tracking of KPIs
  • Support development of policies and procedures.

General Strategy and Planning:

  • Identify and analyze complex business challenges, develop comprehensive improvement plans, and leverage data to drive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Data and Business Operations teams to build a culture that values data in decision-making processes and operational excellence.
  • Focus on initiatives and areas of the business that align with executive group priorities and contribute to strategic objectives.
  • Step into leadership roles as needed to provide oversight, continuity, and guidance during transitions or high-demand periods.
  • Assist in implementing new technologies that can enhance business operations and overall performance.
  • Hands-on leader who excels at project management, meeting facilitation, and delivering high-impact presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leverage continuous process improvement methodologies to implement sustainable improvements across departments.
  • Support external stakeholder relationships by developing payer or investment scorecards that demonstrate value and business performance.
  • Serve as a change agent, designing and implementing change management initiatives that align with the organizations culture and business goals.
  • Review and enhance current programs to ensure they align with company objectives, facilitating smooth and impactful organizational change.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience covering RCM and general project management.
  • Undergraduate degree; Masters a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to follow through on projects.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Compliance with all HIPPA policies.
  • Proficient in basic PC skills. Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle large volumes of detail work accurately and efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
  • Initial and on-going MVR verification and must maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with BayMarks policy F&A-115.
  • Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check
  • Satisfactory drug screen.
