Denucci's Highland Park, the newest restaurant by Ballyhoo Hospitality, is now hiring Pizza Chefs that are true hospitality professionals! Full and part-time opportunities are available. Responsibilities

  • Prepare pizzas with custom orders as well as on menu.
  • Prepare and stock all ingredients needed for pizza station.
  • Ability to perform line-cook related tasks as needed.
  • Follow methods of food preparation, cooking techniques, and portion sizing as prescribed by the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and/or Sous Chef.
  • Operate all kitchen stations as required and adhere to health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Maintain a clean & sanitary station.

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of culinary experience in fine dining establishments.
  • ServeSafe Food Handlers certification required.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective during high volume service and difficult situations.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Hands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza doughs
  • Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment

     

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand, walk, and work in a kitchen environment for extended periods.
  • Occasionally climb and descend stairs, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in tight spaces and with various kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and reaching.

  • The work environment is typically moderate in noise level and may involve exposure to extreme heat or cold.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Compensation: Hourly Based on Experience
