Job Description

Augmentjobs is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. The SDR will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying potential sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up our sales closers for success. You will be a highly motivated self-starter, capable of identifying and developing new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery, and individual research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.

  • Qualification: Research and qualify leads to create sales opportunities by understanding their needs, challenges, and goals.

  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential customers to drive interest in Augmentjobs' products and services.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine strategies for target prospecting.

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM and provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and activity reports.

  • Meeting Goals: Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in a sales development or similar role.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of Augmentjobs.

  • Research Skills: Proficient in using research tools and techniques to gather and analyze customer information.

  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to manage and track leads.

  • Self-Motivation: A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a desire to exceed expectations.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.

  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a team while also being able to work independently.

Preferred Skills
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the staffing and recruitment industry.

  • Technical Skills: Experience using sales automation tools and technologies.

  • Networking: Proven ability to network and develop relationships with key decision-makers.
