About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to lead the redesign of complex enterprise SaaS portals, with a focus on clinical trial management systems. This role demands a user-centered design approach, balancing innovation with practical, scalable solutions. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design process, from initial research and conceptualization to final development and launch. Your work will directly impact the user experience for professionals in the clinical trial industry, enhancing workflows for drug sponsors and doctors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Portal Redesign: Lead the 0 to 1 redesign of enterprise SaaS portals, ensuring they are intuitive, scalable, and user-friendly.
• Prototyping & Wireframing: Develop detailed prototypes and wireframes that guide the development process and effectively communicate design concepts.
• Customer Journey Mapping: Create comprehensive customer journey maps that inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations, balancing differing opinions to achieve a cohesive design vision.
• User-Centered Design: Advocate for and implement a user-centric design approach, incorporating user feedback and research insights into the design process.
• Research & Testing: Conduct user research, including interviews, and apply findings to create designs that meet user needs while supporting complex workflows.
• Collaboration & Iteration: Work closely with development teams to ensure designs are implemented as intended, iterating based on testing and feedback.
• Tool Proficiency: Utilize design tools such as Figma (with flexibility to use Sketch or Adobe XD) to create high-fidelity designs.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of UX design experience with a strong focus on enterprise SaaS products.
• Enterprise SaaS Expertise: Proven experience in designing user experiences for complex, professional-grade SaaS applications.
• Clinical Trial Management: Experience or familiarity with clinical trial management portals is highly preferred.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders with varying opinions and needs.
• User-Centric Design: Demonstrated experience in user-centric design, with a strong understanding of user research, engagement, and feedback incorporation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Cognitive UX/UI: Understanding of the cognitive aspects of UX/UI design, ensuring that interfaces are powerful, comprehensive, and easy to navigate.

Portfolio Requirements:

• A portfolio showcasing your experience in enterprise SaaS UX design, including detailed case studies that outline the problems you faced and the solutions you implemented.
• Examples of portal redesigns or similar large-scale projects, highlighting your ability to manage complex workflows and user needs.

Contract Talent The salary range for this position is 60/hr to 65/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
