We're looking for a creative and organized individual who can think outside the box, visualize spaces effectively, and bring their ideas to life through stunning designs. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing multiple projects, collaborating with clients and colleagues, and delivering exceptional results. Your ability to use design software and your passion for creating innovative retail and commercial spaces are essential for this role.
Duties & Responsibilities
Use AutoCAD to create 2D layouts for floor plans (laser tag arenas, miniature golf courses, amusement facilities, etc.)
Create inviting and fun environments for family entertainment centers, children's museums, theme parks, etc
Layout electrical, low voltage, lighting and more on plans
Theme/Concept Boards - provide initial concepts to clients
Mood/Material Boards - provide a sampling of materials and colors to clients
Prepare architectural packets of information and drawings for clients and internal production team
Assist the Design Department in the overall creative scope of projects
Occasionally, work with client architects, building inspectors, fire marshals, clients and more to review plans, make adjustments, and ensure the overall plans meet the needs of all parties
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, techniques and production systems
Source new materials based on the need of clients/concepts presented
Knowledge of Wrike software a plus
Working knowledge of Adobe Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.
Working knowledge of 3d modeling software such as Revit, Sketchup, Vectorworks or other, a plus.
Qualification Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years of space planning/interior design experience in a professional setting preferred but not required.
4-year degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture Design, Architectural Technology or Engineering is preferred
Must be able to provide a portfolio of design work in Retail and Commercial environments
