Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties as assigned

  • Own the new hire onboarding experience; ensuring new hires are properly introduced to our culture and thoroughly trained on their duties
  • Partner with Operations and HR Manager to better understand the training and development needs.
  • Implement and manage the alchemy training platform and other platforms designed to deliver training to Plant employees
  • Analyze training evaluations to modify and improve existing programs and/or develop new training programs.
  • Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for staff members.
  • Conduct needs analyses to determine gaps in skills, knowledge, and/or competencies within the business
  • Partner with the HR Manager to develop and drive initiatives to help build the company’s culture
  • Develop and implement regular organizational culture and connectivity events such as employee outings, community volunteer events, and other activities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert resource to recommend organizational development tools and practices
  • Partner with the HR Manager and Division leadership to drive high employee engagement and identify strategies to retain top talent
  • Use various instructional methods to develop and deliver content, including demonstrations, small group activities, videos, and other methodologies as appropriate
  • Follow up with leaders to ensure scheduled training programs are completed and documented
  • Assist with other HR-related tasks such as recruiting, data analyses, presenting in leadership team meetings, etc.

Capabilities/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Business or related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • Operations experience is preferred
  • Strong leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic and agile thinker and self-starter
